BODY MIND MUSIC
Pantarei Bodywork & Music Therapy

First the challenge:

Civilisation disorders such as depressive moods, tension, poor posture, cardiovascular diseases and metabolic disorders are often the result of stress and excessive demands. They are caused by social pressure and an overemphasis on intellectual performance and rationality - at the expense of emotional expression, intuitive feelings, physical perception and flexibility.

Now the relief:

Integral bodywork combines conscious awareness of emotional patterns with targeted touch and movement to release stuck tensions and blockages. This holistic approach offers help for self-help, as it does not treat symptoms but transforms the underlying causes of stress and emotional imbalances on a psychological and physical level.

How exactly does that work?

In Pantarei bodywork, we speak of a "session". I like this term because it is also commonly used among musicians. By a "session" I mean an encounter, an exchange, an open, caring, exploratory communication. We start with a conversation so that I can get to know you and your challenges. This results in a shared understanding and a sense of your uniqueness and your potential, so that you can develop your own solutions. The goal is self-exploration, which results in confidence, security and the realisation of your potential. For full, physical integration, we work in a second part with movement, touch and massage, or with therapy instruments for which no previous knowledge is required. Both are also possible, but rarely within one session.

I am currently also training to become a coach for potential development according to Gerald Hüther. I am in constant dialogue with a network of somatic specialists in the interests of further development and in order to be able to react optimally to individual situations.

A few more ideas:

What a biomechanical masterpiece this body is! Especially your body, because it is from this body that you explore the world and come into contact with it. You are the result of generations of experiences, sensations and developments that have found a new, unique embodiment in you. Nature has endowed you with curiosity, a spirit of discovery and love to connect you with life around you and to continue to enrich your experience with wonder and excitement. This is evolutionary logic rather than esoteric flattery. In recent decades, scientific research has also increasingly devoted itself to the unity of body and mind, as it has recognised the necessity of this holistic perspective through its own development.

What would humanity be without music? Music is a universal phenomenon that has accompanied and profoundly influenced people of all cultures since time immemorial. Therapeutic mechanisms of action are diverse and encompass physiological, psychological and social dimensions. Music reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, relaxes, relieves pain, improves brain activity and motor skills, provides access to emotions and social interaction. We are conditioned to suppress many of our feelings. This leads to blockages and discord as long as we do not learn to express them constructively. If language does not help, music and expression on an instrument can help us to access our feelings. This access is the first important step towards understanding and the prerequisite for change.
